Access new research insights from Waterloo experts, as well as student and employer guest speakers, that highlight what is changing in our workforce.

Many of us love our lawns despite the environmental implications. So how do we maintain a great looking lawn and not lie awake at night full of guilt? The answer is actually quite simple. We maintain it the way nature would. While turf isn’t a natural ground cover, we can apply the same ecological principles which operate in the natural world.

Learn about what low mood and depression are; including skills to better manage your low mood and depression and how to:

-alleviate low mood and depression in the moment
-challenge your depressive thoughts
-change behaviours that maintain low mood and depression using mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy, and self-compassion

The first Year of COVID-19 event “Disparities, Inequities, and Inequalities” will highlight the ways in which members of Indigenous and racialized communities have been disproportionately impacted by the virus. This event is a collaboration of the President's Anti-Racism Taskforce (PART) and the Office of Research.
