Peace by Chocolate is an award-winning film that focuses on a Syrian refugee family, as they adapt to a new life in Nova Scotia, Canada, while rebuilding their family chocolate business. The screening will be hosted by the PACS 325: Refugees and Forced Migration class in the Conrad Grebel Great Hall (Room 1111), and will be followed by a post-film discussion in which audience members are welcome to share their thoughts regarding the film.

Cost: Free, although we will be accepting donations. Snacks will be available by donation to local refugee organizations (Compass Refugee Centre, Mennonite Central Committee Ontario, Reception House). availability limited to 200 spaces; on a first come, first served basis.
