On Saturday, November 16, 2019, the 14th Annual Southwestern Ontario Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behaviour (I/O & OB) Graduate Student Conference was held at the University of Waterloo.
Graduate student Frank Mu had a paper accepted for publication. This is a 4-study project that began with his undergraduate honours thesis research. Congratulations Frank! (See Mu & Bobocel, under publications.)
Ramona and graduate student Lauren Holt traveled to NYC to participate in the 2nd Distances in Organizations Workshop. Ramona and colleagues from Amsterdam and Queensland presented some recent research, and Lauren learned a lot! She also got to see a lot of NYC in the evenings!
Former PhD student, Justin Brienza, will be taking up a tenure-stream faculty position as Assistant Professor at the University of Queensland Business School in January 2020. Congratulations, Justin!
Graduate students Midori Nishioka and Vincent Phan will be presenting research papers at the Annual Meeting of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Fort Washington, Maryland, in April 2019.
