The FATSLab team is excited to announce the beta launch of the Cold Spray Hub, a free and open platform developed in collaboration with Dr. Bertrand Jodoin's uOttawa Cold Spray Research Laboratory (CSRL) and Dr. Verena Kantere's Modern Management of Data and Analytics Lab (M2oDA) at the University of Ottawa. The platform is built to support research into cold spray technology via the following features:
- A searchable database of 1000+ cold spray publications ranging from experimental to numerical studies
- Detailed search filters for refined database searches, e.g., material systems, micro- and macro- characterization results, numerical model parameters
- Built-in calculators for estimating critical and particle velocities via formulae from existing studies
The Cold Spray Hub is available to the open public, no registration required. For help navigating the Hub and its features, you can watch this video tutorial. As this platform is in beta, feedback is highly welcome and appreciated via the "Contact Us" page.
