Samih Alqawlaq has a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from UW. He has joined the group as a Masters student, and he is working on non-invasive targeted gene delivery for optic nerve regeneration in glaucoma.

Torin Huzil has a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Alberta and has worked extensively on the design of novel chemotherapeutic agents. His current research as a postdoctoral fellow with the Foldvari group involves simulation of membrane bilayer interactions with permeation enhancers. He is also jointly supervised with the faculty of Applied Math.

Sattar Taheri-Araghi recently completed his PhD in Physics from the University of Waterloo. He has joined the group as postdoctoral fellow working on theoretical modelling of DNA-gemini surfactant complexes. He is jointly supervised by Dr. M. Kohandel and Dr. S. Sivaloganathan from Applied Math at UW.

Maria Jimena Loureiro is an undergraduate student in UW's Nanotechnology Engineering program. She is a co-op student for an 8-month term.

Rania Farghaly has a BSc in Pharmacy from the University of Assiut in Egypt. She has joined the group as a Masters student, working on the transdermal delivery of macromolecules.
