The Canadian Association for Food Studies (CAFS) will host its ninth annual assembly at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario from May 23 to 27, 2014, in conjunction with the 2014 Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences.

Registration is now open for the 2014 National Food Security Forum hosted by the University of Guelph’s Food Institute.

The Waterloo Food Issues Group (WatFIG) at the University of Waterloo invites submissions for the third edition of its multidisciplinary graduate student workshop, with the theme “Critical Issues facing the Food System in the 21st Century”, to be held at the Balsillie School of International Affairs campus on Friday, April 11, 2014.

Canadian Association for Food Studies CAFS’ 10th Annual Assembly: Capital Ideas – Nourishing Debates, Minds and Bodies, will be held from May 30 – June 2nd at the University of Ottawa in Ottawa, Ontario, in association with the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences. We will be accepting submissions via our website.
