Research Interests

In recent years, the rapid progress of artificial intelligence (AI), has been creating unprecedented opportunities in geographic information systems, and machine learning and deep learning with the relevant tools and algorithms are playing a vital role in GIS spatial analysis. Inspired by Professor Jonathan Li, I plan to develop some technologies and algorithms of deep learning, which can facilitate the detection, extraction, and analysis of geospatial data and images.

I would love to work on LiDAR remote sensing and point cloud analytics, while the data-driven point cloud upsampling and multisource point cloud fusion attract me and Im ready to encounter anything relevant to 5G such as autonomous driving technique. Im sure that I can handle these with my knowledge of 5G and Data analyze.

with a distinguished curriculum, a multi-cultural student community, and the presence of many experts and professors in geography, the University of Waterloo is decent choice for me, and I believe that my previous knowledge and training have prepared me well for graduate studies.
