Research Interests
My research interests focus on AI-based processing of Earth Observation imagery (multispectral and SAR), spatial analysis, and applications in health monitoring of civil infrastructure and environmental change monitoring. Generative pre-trained models are increasingly used in Earth Observation image processing. My current research concentrates on the investigation of the potential of Visual ChatGPT for semantic segmentation and land cover classification of very high-resolution satellite images.
