Research Interests

My area of interest focuses on tracking and mapping of land cover changes and environmental pollution using earth observation images and LiDAR point clouds and machine learning algorithms. I am specifically interested in urban land cover classification, urban heat island mapping, machine learning approaches to semantic segmentation of remote sensing images and point clouds.  I am also keen to learn advanced methods that includes deep learning algorithms for performing image analysis, image segmentation and classification, which helps in obtaining detailed information of environmental issues under concern. Check my Linkedin to find more information about me.
