Research Interests
In recent years, the popularity of autonomous driving and robotics benefits from the large-scale development of using lidar to obtain point cloud data. LiDAR has become an important means of sensing and has attracted peoples attention. Point cloud processing has also become a hot topic. My research interests mainly focus on LiDAR remote sensing, point cloud analytics and LiDAR-based environment perception for autonomous driving. In specific, solve the own requirements of point clouds, such as registration and fitting, by combining point clouds with deep learning. In terms of autonomous driving, I would like to use LiDAR to scan the static and dynamic objects around the driverless car, after a series of point cloud processing, the car can make different behavior decisions automatically, such as following, overpassing, parking and so on.
