Research Interests

I have been involved with multiple LiDAR companies during my professional career. I have been a part of sensor testing, LiDAR data collection, processing, analysis to drafting and have also performed image processing and classification.

My research interests are primarily in the areas of Remote Sensing and GIS data analysis. My research will focus on collection, processing, analysis and classification of airborne lidar data of municipalities, city areas and corridors using LiDAR sensors. Some professional projects, I have been involved in are LiDAR point clouds and camera images processing, software testing and sensor capabilities. I have also drafted bridges, infrastructures, railways and land surfaces and utilities using point cloud data. I have also done pit volume calculations using point cloud data and boresight calculations.
