Tips for accessing Confluence

  • If you see a login button in the top right corner, you are not yet logged in. 
    • Please select this button and log in using your WatIAM credentials.  
    • Once logged in, please try to access the site again.
  • If you see a circle with your initials in the top right corner, you are logged in.  
    • Please ensure you are logged in with the account you requested access through (e.g., personal vs generic account).

If you see this page, you must first log in to Confluence (Atlassian).

Click the sign in button in the top right corner.

Enter your UW email address.

This will bring you to the UW sign in page.

Sign in with your username@uwaterloo.ca.

You will know your sign in was successful when you see your initials in the top right corner of the screen in Confluence.

Note: You may be prompted to authenticate via the DUO Mobile app.

Graduate studies resources

All procedural documentation has been curated for staff and faculty who support graduate studies at the University of Waterloo.   

Access is provided to staff and faculty in the following roles: 

  • Associate Dean, Graduate Studies 
  • Graduate Officer / Associate Chair / Director 
  • Graduate Co‑ordinator / Manager 
  • Faculty Administrative Co‑ordinator / Manager 
  • Faculty Recruitment Specialist 
  • Admissions Reviewer (faculty member who is reviewing a graduate student application)

To request site access to graduate studies resources, please fill out the Request or Remove SIS Systems Access form. GSPA staff will review your request and grant access, as appropriate, within two business days. If you have an urgent need for access, please contact Christina Treusch, Senior Manager, Graduate Systems. 

Postdoctoral affairs resources

The postdoctoral affairs resources site provides details to support all staff and faculty in the hiring, onboarding, and administration of postdoctoral appointments at the University of Waterloo.

Access to this site is provided to staff and faculty upon request.  

To request site access to postdoctoral affairs resources, please fill out the request form. GSPA staff will review your request and grant access, as appropriate, within two business days. If you have an urgent need to get access to the site, please contact the postdoctoral affairs team
