Graduate Student: Science Communication Specialist
Science Communication Specialist: Infographics and Knowledge Translation
We’re Hiring a Grad Student for Casual/Hourly Work!
Position Responsibilities
We need leadership from a graduate student with expertise in knowledge translation and/or science communication to:
- Read published papers authored by Hart Lab associates and select the information to be translated.
- Develop infographics and other digestible forms of media to disseminate information.
- Work swiftly and autonomously.
- Collaborate with Hart Lab staff, including Undergrad Research Assistant in Social Media.
Job Details
Type: Casual/hourly
Rate: $54.42/hour (University of Waterloo GRA rate)
Hours: 5 hours/week
Start Date: Immediately
Duration: 2026 Spring and Fall terms with potential for extension.
Location: Some in-person work required at the Hart Lab (Psychology, Anthropology and Sociology building), University of Waterloo.
