SAS software available to faculty and staff via IST Webstore

What is happening? The statistical software, SAS, is available to faculty and staff on the IST Webstore. SAS is centrally funded so there is no charge to faculty and staff.

When is it happening? SAS 2025 (9.4 M8) licenses are available as of May 13th, 2025.  

What do I need to do?

• If you wish to obtain SAS, log in to the IST Webstore and navigate to the Campus Licenses tab.
• Select a quantity for SAS 2025 and accept the terms of the license agreement.
• Click the Purchase button.
• The Authorize tab can be ignored, SAS does not get automatically deployed to IST managed machines.
• Click on the Download tab to view and download the installation instructions.
  • Click ‘Get Access’ button.
  • If you already have SAS installed please follow the ‘Renewal’ instructions in the document
  • If you do not already have SAS installed please follow the ‘Installation and Upgrade’ instructions in the document.
