Rapid advancements in technology will soon make autonomous transportation options a reality. In fact, many autonomous options exist today. Come learn about self-driving vehicles and how convergence of the automotive and information technology sectors is fast tracking advancements in how we move.

The University of Waterloo's Centre for Automotive Research (WatCAR) has developed such a car and is the first organization approved for autonomous operation of a vehicle on public roads in Canada.

Ross McKenzie is the Managing Director of WatCAR. He will provide an introduction to autonomous driving, map out the road ahead and take your questions.
