The Advanced Interface Design Lab invites applications to the fully funded position of Human Factors of Work with Dementia Postdoctoral Fellow. The candidate will lead a program of examining human factors approaches, particularly Cognitive Work Analysis, with a lens to improve inclusivity in work, including people living with cognitive impairment.
The successful candidate will have a key role in the Cog@work project and will work with partners from across Canada to create a novel systems for supporting people diagnosed with dementia who wish to remain employed. Other areas of research in the lab include establishing and applying ecological interface design, cognitive engineering, and novel usability testing methods to a broad range of real-world applications.
