Joy Liu, a Master's student with the Basu Lab, successfully defended her MASc thesis. Her thesis titled 'Checkered Landscapes: Quantifying Dominant Controls on Nitrogen Legacies and Time Lags along the River Continuum', explores nitrogen legacies in the Grand River Watershed and their impacts on water quality. Joy completed her research with supervision from Nandita Basu, and guidance from her advisory committee of Kim Van Meter and Philippe Van Cappellen.
Congratulations Joy!
