Lake Futures lead Nandita Basu was recently welcomed as a member of the Royal Society of Canada’s College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists. Nandita was honoured at the Royal Society of Canada Gala held in Ottawa.
She is recognized for her contributions to ecohydrology and water sustainability, highlighting her work on nutrient legacies and water quality. She is among 46 new members from across Canada welcomed into the college this year and is one of nine University of Waterloo faculty honoured at the event.
