Nandita Basu invited to speak at the Michigan Drinking Water Workshop

Nandita Basu was invited to the Michigan Drinking Water Workshop to both participate and be the lead-off speaker in a session on Water Source Issues.

The Michigan Drinking Water Workshop was a one-day event hosted by the Michigan Environmental Council at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor campus. Dr. Rosina Bierbaum (University of Michigan), Dr. Joan Rose (Michigan State University) and Chris Kolb were co-chairs of the event. The event brought together key EPA and state officials, drinking water experts and researchers, and local community groups. The workshop culminated in a concise, common action agenda hoping to provide a roadmap forward for Michigan to ensure access to safe, clean drinking water.
