Perspectives on improving water quality given nitrogen legacies

A group of Lake Futures researchers, including Princial Investigator Nandita Basu and Investigators Roy Bouwer and Philippe Van Cappellen, published new perspectives identifying key knowledge gaps related to landscape nitrogen legacies.

The article found that managing the legacy of nitrogen in agricultural settings could help curb pollution that threatens human health, water quality and ecosystems.
