Water Day on the Hill

Lake Futures PI Nandita Basu and Co-I Philippe Van Cappellen were part of a delegation of 24 water scientists to participate in Water Day on the Hill. This event brought together top water scientists from 14 institutions across Canada to discuss key water challenges and solutions with federal officials on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. They discussed issues ranging from algal blooms and nutrient pollution to climate change, focusing on how science can contribute to informed decision making.
