About the Initiative
With this project, we will analyze existing data to understand missing persons incidents and lost person behaviour specific to persons living with dementia in Canada. We will use data bases from key partners including in police services, search and rescue (SAR) volunteer organizations, vulnerable persons registries, Medic Alert, and interRAI’s health data where available.
Note all data collected meets ethics standards of the University of Waterloo’s Office of Research
