Join Waterloo Science Outreach to provide programs and enrichment activities to increase awareness of the importance and value of Science to society. It also stands to highlight the contributions that Waterloo Science makes to scientific understanding.
The Science Outreach team is looking for volunteers for some interactive upcoming events this weekend! Help make this visit successful, if you are interested in building your teaching skills, communicating science, or just looking to get involved, sign up! Volunteers will need to step in for a short training session prior to the visits.
Volunteers are needed for:
- Friday Morning (8-10:50) to do Pulling your Weight & Crime Labs
- Friday Afternoon (10:50-3:10) to do Gels and Genes (x2)
- Friday Morning/Afternoon (8:30-2:30) to do booth style activities (LUNCH IS PROVIDED)
- Saturday Morning (7-9) to set up booth activities at St. Jacobs Farmers Market
- Saturday Morning (8:45-12:35) to do booth activities at St. Jacobs Farmers Market
- Saturday Afternoon (11:45-4:05) to do booth activities at St. Jacobs Farmers Market
