Silver Mirrors Lab Event

The silver mirror lab, run in a themed format, gives students an engaging, hands-on opportunity to explore redox chemistry and reaction kinetics through a classic chemical process. By carrying out the silver mirror reaction, students observe the reduction of silver ions to metallic silver in real time, forming reflective coatings on glass surfaces.
