In July 1986,Prof Vrscay joined the Department of Applied Mathematics, as an NSERC University Research Fellow and Assistant Professor.

On January 1, 2023, he retired from his position as full-time and tenured Professor of Applied Mathematics. I am now an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics.
