Associate Professor, Combinatorics and Optimization
Karen Yeats
Dr. Karen Yeats is an Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair in Combinatorics in Quantum Field Theory in the Combinatorics and Optimization department in the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. She works in combinatorics and quantum field theory and is often thinking about the connection between Feynman graphs and multiple zeta values, as well as the recursive structure of quantum field theory. Sometimes this leads afield, recently to algebraic geometry and to differential equations. She also plays with more purely combinatorial ideas like partitions and families of trees.
