Before joining the University of Waterloo as an Assistant Professor in July 2022, Dr. Mina Tahmasbi Arashloo was a Presidential Postdoctoral Fellow in the Computer Science Department at Cornell University, where she worked with Nate Foster and Rachit Agarwal. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Princeton University under the supervision of Jennifer Rexford and completed her B.Sc. in Computer Engineering at Sharif University of Technology.
Dr. Arashloo’s research focuses on networked systems, with an emphasis on software-defined networking (SDN) and programmable data planes. Her work aims to enhance network robustness by developing tools for automated analysis of network functionality, generating correct and efficient implementations on high-speed network hardware, and creating monitoring systems for validation at run-time.
