Vern Paulsen

Dr. Vern Paulsen is a Professor in the Department of Pure Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Michigan in 1977. Prior to joining the University of Waterloo, he was a Professor at the University of Houston.

Vern's research interests are operator algebras, operator theory, frame theory, reproducing kernel hilbert spaces, quantum computation and quantum information theory.
