Alexandra Kraushaar

Alexandra Kraushaar is the Associate Director, Research Partnerships in the Math Innovation Office. She brings a passion for research and innovation, as well as diverse industry and academic experience. In her role, she is responsible for identifying, developing, implementing, and sustaining the research partnership mission across the Faculty of Math. Prior to the Math Innovation Office, Alexandra worked in the School of Computer Science. As an alumnus of UWaterloo (BKI ’14, MA ’16), she is proud to be part of the team here in the Faculty of Mathematics.

Outside of work, Alexandra enjoys spending time at home on her hobby farm with her family, where they have multiple dogs and chickens. She is also an avid equestrian, who has competed for Canada at multiple team championships and is still actively involved in training equestrian clients. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, running, yoga, and going on adventures with her family.
