PhD Candidate
Shyamaleeswari earned her bachelor’s degree in Nanotechnology Engineering, with a specialization in nanoelectronics, from the University of Waterloo in 2025. Later that year, she joined Professor Wasilewski’s group as a PhD student, drawn by her interest in semiconductor physics and optoelectronics. Her current research focuses on Sb-based alloys for long-wave infrared detector technology capable of operating at high temperatures.
