Our research projects are collaborative in essence and range from the development of revolutionary topological quantum computers, ultra-fast quantum computers based on interacting systems of quantum dots and quantum wires, to multi-junction and intermediate band-gap high-efficiency solar cells, to ultra-low-power and speed electronics to THz Quantum Cascade Lasers (THz QCLs) and detectors. Collaborations are in place with research groups from both Waterloo and other universities (Canadian and international) as well as with high-tech companies.
