Yunong (Anthony) Hu currently works in the electronics industry in China. He earned his MSc in Physics (Nanotechnology) under the supervision of Professor Zbig Wasilewski in 2018 and was a member of the QNC-MBE research team from September 2016, following his BSc in Physics from the University of Waterloo.
Anthony has a passion for quantum physics and enjoys exploring nanotechnology from a quantum mechanical perspective. During his undergraduate studies, he conducted numerical simulations of current and magnetic fields within and around superconducting thin films. For his master’s research, he focused on the epitaxial growth of InAs/AlSb-based mid-infrared quantum cascade lasers.
