The Department of Chemical Engineering and the Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology are partnering to organize a series of discourses on technology-based solutions to global challenges linked to UN Sustainable Development Goals.

We are pleased to present the first discourse in our series: Recycling Electronic Components: Reducing Global Waste.

In this event, Peidong Yang, distinguished professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley, will be joined by WIN-members Dayan Ban (Electrical and Computer Engineering) and Ting Tsui (Chemical Engineering).  The discussion will be moderated by Sushanta Mitra (Waterloo Institute of Nanotechnology) and Marios Ioannidis (Chemical Engineering) and time will be reserved for Q&A with the audience.

Please join us in the Conrad Hub (E7 2nd floor) from 3:45 - 5:00pm. Registration is now available! Refreshments will be provided.
