On November 30th, Nanotechnology Engineering students who made it to the Dean’s honour list were recognized. Faculty, staff, and lab instructors gathered to celebrate the thirty students who made the list. Everyone was in high spirits and enjoyed lively interaction and good conversation.
Students from cohorts 1B, 3A and 3B cheered each other on as they were presented with their certificates from the Dean by Professor Laura Deakin.
Fourth-year student Joyce Zheng was one of the thirty students who received this honour.
“It means a lot to make the Dean's Honour list because it feels nice to be acknowledged for all the efforts put into my studies and coursework. It really motivates me to continue working hard in the last four months before graduation,” said Zheng.
The ceremony took place in E6 and acknowledged the outstanding academic performance of the students in the fall, winter, and spring 2022 terms. A wide variety of hors d’oeuvres was served as well as delicious desserts for the students to sample.
