Congratulations to the 81 Nanotechnology Engineering graduates who received their official Bachelor of Applied Science diplomas at the University of Waterloo’s Spring Convocation on Saturday, June 16th, 2018.
Each graduate, enrobed in a symbolic black gown, was called to the stage to receive their diploma in front of proud family and friends. The ceremony was followed by a celebratory reception for approximately 400 people in the atrium of the Mike and Ophelia Lazaridis Quantum-Nano Centre, where the graduates had spent so many hours studying the unique properties and functions of nanoscale systems. Faculty and staff joined the party to celebrate the 2018 grads’ achievements and wish them well for the future.
