Congratulations to second-year Nanotechnology Engineering student Ryan Gallagher for his win at the Norman Esch Enterprise Co-op Awards in September. He is one of two engineering students to win a coveted $5,000 scholarship at the fall 2018 term’s Ignition Week pitch competition.
With only five minutes to pitch his idea and three minutes to answer questions, Ryan convinced the panel of the value of his company’s patient-referral system. Waitime’s organized network will improve Canadians’ experience with our healthcare system by reducing wait times for specialist appointments.
We look forward to learning about Ryan’s next steps as he develops Waitime over the course of his studies and with the support of the Enterprise Co-op (E Co-op) program.
