Personal Profile
Kirti received her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam University of Technology, India. Her capstone project involved synthesis of polymer gels for dye separation from waste-water streams. She won the University Silver medal for academic excellence in her cohort for the year 2016.
She worked at an Indian Water Treatment multi intentional company as a process engineer following the completion of her bachelors degree. Kirti joined the NSERC Chair in September 2018 to pursue her masters. Her research focuses on the robustness of drinking water treatment plants. She is supervised by Dr. Peter Huck and Dr. Sigrid Peldszus.
