Personal Profile
Sina Golchi received his BEng. in Chemical Engineering from Science and Research University, Tehran, Iran in June 2018. His capstone project was on carbon quantum dots and their applications. He has participated in two research studies on waste and wastewater management and renewable energies as a research assistant during his undergraduate program.
Sina joined the NSERC Chair in Water Treatment in October 2018 as a MASc. candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering (Water). He completed his MASc degree in November 2021 and his research involved the removal of cyanotoxins from drinking water under supervision of Drs. Huck and Peldszus. He is curently working as a Research Associate with the NSERC Chair.
