Noshin obtained her B.Sc. in Civil Engineering degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bangladesh in October 2018. Her undergraduate research was focused on enhanced coagulation for removal of organic carbon from polluted surface water. She worked as a lecturer at University of Asia Pacific, Bangladesh after graduation.
Noshin joined the NSERC Chair in Water Treatment in September 2019 as a MASc. (Water) candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Peter Huck and Dr. Sigrid Peldszus. Her research focused on operational robustness of drinking water treatment systems under unprecedented weather events. Noshin completed her MASc degree and is currently working with NSERC Chair as a Research Associate.
