Professor Heather Keller among other dietitians and nutritionists at this congress

Professor Heather Keller attended the 17th International Congress of Dietetics in Granada, Spain from September 7th to 10th, 2016. At this congress, dietitians and nutritionists from around the world meet once every four years to discuss new ideas in nutritional care practice. She co-held a symposium on nutrition screening tools for older adults (SCREEN) and for parents of young children (NutriSTEP). Professor Keller also participated in three round table discussions with research currently being conducted in the Nutrition and Aging lab: 1) Promoting self-management and prevention of chronic disease in older adults with technology; 2) Making the Most of Mealtimes: Dietitians leading culture change for older adults living in residences; and 3) Introducing the Integrated Nutrition Pathway for Acute Care (INPAC): principles for improved nutritional care practices in hospital.
