The 38th ESPEN Congress was hosted in Copenhagen, Denmark from September 17th to 20th, 2016 where researchers, physicians, dietitians, pharmacists, and nurses came together to discuss current research and network. Professor Heather Keller was among the attendees at the congress and presented three posters. One poster was on the Canadian Malnutrition Task Force study regarding predictors of post-hospital discharge weight change. The other two posters were on the development of the Integrated Nutrition Pathway for Acute Care (INPAC) and implementing the INPAC in the More-2-Eat study.
Professor Heather Keller also gave a talk September 18th on improving nutrition care in hospital, learnings from the "More-2-Eat" study, which was supported by Nutrition Nordic and Nestle Health Sciences.
