Members of the Nutrition & Aging lab (pictured l-r: Jill Morrison-Koechl, Vanessa Trinca, Sarah Awwad, Rachael Donnelly, Cindy Wei) attended the 48th Annual Scientific and Education Meeting of the Canadian Association on Gerontology (CAG2019) in Moncton, NB from October 24-26, 2019. The theme of the conference was "Navigating the Tides of Aging Together".

Our members represented the collective productivity of our lab with 7 poster presentations and 2 oral presentations, which can be viewed on our CAG2019 Research page. We attended many interesting sessions, including a pre-conference workshop on Social Innovation where we rolled up our sleeves and participated in a prototyping activity (pictured below), and networked with conference delegates, and exhibitors. Congratulations to Sarah A for winning the a tablet, courtesy of the Canadian Journal on Aging!

The conference was not all work: members of the lab also enjoyed the sights, sounds, and flavours (because, nutrition!) of the East Coast!
