Congratulations to Sarah Awwad for successfully defending her Masters' thesis on Sept. 9, 2019.
Sarah's thesis, titled "An Exploration of Residents' and Care Partners' Perspectives on 3D Printed Pureed Food in Long-Term Care Homes in Ontario" was well-received by her committee members, Dr. Heather Keller (supervisor/KIN), Dr. Michaela Devries-Aboud (KIN), and Dr. Lisa Duizer (Food Science, University of Guelph). The defense was well-attended by Sarah's mother, Mai Brik (pictured above with Sarah and Dr. Keller), and several students and alumni of the Nutrition & Aging lab.
