The Orthopaedic Mechatronics (ORTHOtron) Laboratory in the Mechanical & Mechatronics Department at the University of Waterloo is focused on a multidisciplinary approach to develop and evaluate orthopaedic interventions, ranging from robotic manipulators to characterize bone-implant mechanics to wearable sensors for musculoskeletal rehabilitation monitoring.
