All postdocs at the University of Waterloo and their families are invited to watch a free hockey game! Support our Waterloo Warriors as they take on the Lakehead Thunderwolves at the Columbia Icefield (CIF). With a 101 lesson on the game of hockey, an open skate, and more activities before the game, it will be an afternoon to remember!
Important notes:
- Please let us know how many people will be coming by selecting the number of tickets you need for your family.
- Most school-aged children have this day off since January 16 is a PD day in the local school boards.
- Registrants will receive further instructions in the days leading up to the event on where to meet staff from Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs to pick up free tickets and pizza at CIF before the game starts.
- It will be chilly in the rink area, so dress warm!
- You can enjoy the pizza, lesson, and activities starting at 1:00. Warm-up for the hockey team begins on the ice at 2:00. The game starts at 2:30.
