Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs (GSPA) provides strategic and operational leadership for graduate studies and postdoctoral affairs at the University of Waterloo, working with faculties, departments and programs to support graduate students throughout their academic journey.

Supporting you throughout your graduate studies

GSPA oversees and supports many aspects of the graduate student lifecycle, including admissions, awards and funding, academic records and systems, graduate policies and processes, professional development, and initiatives that support the graduate student experience. GSPA also maintains the Current Graduate Students website as a central source of information and resources to help you navigate your graduate studies at Waterloo.

Many of the people and services that support your graduate experience are located across GSPA, your faculty and academic unit, and other areas of the University. Visit the graduate contacts page to find the right contact based on the type of question or support you need.
