How to use the database
Each selection category has multiple options. Click through the options to view awards that fall within the category you are searching for (e.g., Program → Arts → Psychology). At this time, multi-level filtering is not available.
For any awards where recipients are automatically selected, it is not necessary for students to contact the Faculty or department. Recipients will be automatically selected based on the award eligibility criteria.
Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) and Queen Elizabeth II Graduate Scholarship in Science and Technology (QEII-GSST) “matching” awards
The OGS and QEII-GSST programs are jointly funded by the Province of Ontario and the postsecondary institution, where the Province contributes 2/3 of the award value and the remainder 1/3 comes from institutional funds which can be paid through donor-funded awards. Donor funding may not necessarily be in excess of what students have already received via the OGS or QEII-GSST, but rather assists the University in paying its required contribution. For further information regarding this, please contact the Associate Director, Graduate Financial Aid and Awards.
