Construction begins on SLC/PAC expansion

We are excited to let you know that the SLC/PAC Expansion construction phase is ready to begin!

Construction fencing/hoarding will be going up around the SLC courtyard and into BMH Green this week. Please see the construction diagram attached.

An end-of-term message from the President

As I traveled around campus and visited lectures across the University recently, I was struck time and again by the enthusiasm Waterloo students have for their studies and for this University. Just thinking about it keeps us all inspired.

Members of the University of Waterloo campus community should be aware of a planned Grand River Transit labour disruption, expected to begin Monday, April 3 at 5:00 a.m.

Students, staff and faculty are advised to consider alternative transportation arrangements in the event that transit service is unavailable.

A community committed to action on mental health

Following the recent tragic loss of one of our students to suicide, I have been moved by our community’s overwhelming offers of support for people suffering from mental health issues.

These offers of assistance continue to come into the University by phone, email, in person and most recently, through a petition outlining ideas on how we can better support those who may be suffering in silence.
