Deadlines for Adding and Dropping Spring 2019 Courses

  • The last day to add classes for spring 2019 is May 17.
  • Reserves on most courses will be removed May 10.
  • The last day to drop a class with a 100% tuition refund is May 24.

Note: Add and drop periods may be adjusted for courses less than the normal 12 week duration. Check your syllabus.

Quest navigation to get a new look

During the February 2019 Reading Week, Quest will be updated to provide clients with a new navigation experience.

The tile-based navigation structure (like the mobile view now) offers students, faculty, and staff a modernized, user-friendly experience. And while the initial style of the page and how you navigate the tiles will be different, the actual site content and how you use those pages will remain the same.

Holiday office closure

The University will be closed for the holiday break. Our office will be closing at 4:30 p.m. on December 21, 2018 and will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on January 2, 2019.

Closing our doors...and opening new ones

At the end of the business day today, December 14, the Office of the Registrar will be closing our customer service doors for the last time. On Monday, December 17, students can visit The Centre on the first floor of Ira G. Needles Hall (NH), where they will be welcomed by the same staff who will assist them with their registrarial and financial aid needs. We look forward to serving you in the new space!

Get your student refunds faster!

As of December 5, students can enter their Canadian banking information into Quest to enable direct deposit of refunds from their student account (e.g., tuition refunds for dropped courses).

Direct deposit is a secure and convenient way to receive student payments without any postal delay. Not only will you be able to access your funds more quickly, you can also be sure they will never be lost, stolen, or damaged in the mail.

Changes coming soon to the Registrar’s Office

In mid-December, the Registrar’s Office front service counter will move from the second floor to the first floor in a newly renovated space in Ira G. Needles Hall and will be branded as The Centre. Rest assured, the services provided – e.g., form submission, payment of holds, production of letters and transcripts, and inquiries for Student Awards and Financial Aid – are remaining the same.
