Skills for Success: Building Transferable Skills for the Workplace is a free online training resource developed by Renison University College's School of Global Engagement and Education that addresses the integration of essential skills and English language for newcomers in Canada who are seeking further foundational or transferable skills development as they engage in the Ontario workforce.
About the Resource
This resource comprises 4 online, self-guided, and asynchronous modules targeting skills for the Ontario and Canadian workplace. Should you be looking to gain specific skills in a targeted area, we encourage you to engage the individual modules of the most interest to you. The modules have been developed by professionals in the areas of continuing education, essential skills, and English language education and with insight from key stakeholders in newcomer support services.
Each module includes:

- informative videos and downloadable resources
- opportunities to interact and reflect on content and learning
