Request Tracker (RT) System
The RT system is used by many areas of campus to submit and track Information Technology (IT) and non-IT related requests.
Each request that is submitted results in the creation of a request "ticket". This ticket contains a number of attributes including a request/ticket number that is used to track the progress of the request.
The system is maintained by Information Systems and Technology (IST).
The “Request Tracker 4 (RT4) Implementation Project” used the results of the RT Investigation Project (2012-13) to implement Request Tracker version 4, to provide a reliable campus system for request tracking and a shared knowledge base.
